Here is a photographic history of the adventures of Jessica Tsay and Igor Tolkov from August 2009 until January 2011. "While chain'd reluctant on the marble ground, Indignant Time reclines, by Sculpture bound; And sternly bending o'er a scroll unroll'd, Inscribes the future" ... a picture a day.

Foldings
I was in the library looking for a book for Jen. Didn't get too lost because the section in which the book was happened to be next to the elevator. I found many versions, and I thought this one was rather interesting. I think it was published in 1924. First of all, it had a green marbled cover which reminded me of 2nd grade when we made "books", and the cover was some colorful design we made from marbling. Second, the pages were printed funny! They weren't double-sided. And they had pictures every once in a while.

Impressionism

October 3 | My apartment, WC
So sorry for completely forgetting about this. Anyway, we have some gray stuff on the edge in the WC, and some of it hasn't been cleaned off the walls. But this one resembles a church.
What do you think?
Yum
See's chocolate bars are some of my favorite things in the whole world. Especially with toffee. Very fattening and sweet though. And my family has a history of diabetes. So, probably not a good idea to eat chocolate (or coffee or milk tea)...ever...but it's so yummy! Have you ever had Seattle's Chocolates before? Those are good, too. I don't like Ghirardelli or Godiva. I like Lindts. Hershey is okay.
Wow, I didn't realize I was so into chocolate.

Cookies

October 1 | Eötvös Loránd University
We had our second weekly colloquium today. Eötvös is a university in Budapest. The campus is small, but very nice nevertheless.
After the colloquium we had drinks and cookies, and talked with professors and other Hungarian students.
