Septermber 6 | Skanzen
This is where I spent the last day of my summer. No, it's not a village - it's the Skanzen open air museum, in the countryside North of Budapest. The museum features these houses, churches, furniture - basically, the lifestyle of people in Hungary somewhere in the late 19th and early 20th century. Going inside whereever was open was fun, and also taking the non-obvious trails through the park, like tht one path through the woods along the perimeter.
The museum / park was tiring. I think, though, that this long weekend was unusually productive. First, Pécs. Then, the zoo. And, finally, Skanzen.
