Malachite

On Sunday, we hiked the Foss Lakes Trail up to Cooper and Malachite lakes, hence the title. (Malachite is a gemstone, so I doubt that the title will come in a more direct context.) Thus, we saw three lakes on the hike. It was cloudy, though. But I like taking waterfall pictures. There was water all around: huge waterfall that we hiked up to (but ended up going around a bit), rivers that had to be crossed by rock- and tree-hopping, and snow at the two upper lakes.

The hike took pretty much all day.
