November 3, 2010 Fair trade market in the lunch packing room
Fair trade market! My friend Elisabeth is going to Nicaragua in the winter for the educational trip about equality and justice. To go with the theme, she brought in a business that sells fair trade items from all over the world. They had cool bracelets, wallets, and purses made from recycled art (maps, candy wrappers). Her group was also fundraising by selling fair trade coffee, chocolates, and teas. I bought chocolate, mmmm. I want to get some tea soon, but I have a lot of tea right now...
