August 23 | Margaret Island
Here I am above the runis of an old castle. The castle stood between the XIII'th and XVII's centuries. St. Margaret occupied the castle somewhere in its early years.
St. Margaret Island is in Budapest on the Duna. It's mostly a park, seeming abandoned but relatively clean and with well-kept flower beds. It's looks like a typical large urban park, not very exciting but with a few surprises. Like this one.

ReplyDeleteA picture of Igor! Awwww. :) So, this is what you were doing Sunday?
I'm assuming St. Margaret is an important person? That would have been quite an old castle, if it were still standing.
