April 21, 2010 | UW ClubI might have told you about yesterday's math reception. It's an exciting event that I get to experience by invitation for taking the Putnam, participating in the modeling competition, etc. The reception is for new students to meet current students and talk to them about mathematics at UW. For me it means free food, as well as a chance to socialize with other students in the math program, some of whom I don't see on a regular basis.
Unfortunately, I only took two pictures, and they were both out of focus.
