My memory of these whiteboards goes back to SIMUW, when we lived in McCarthy (UW North Campus dorm). The upper portion of the board is for administrative use (there were some numbers on there that I erased), and the bottom portion is for general internal communication. If you don't understand the chemistry joke or it's hard to see: polar bears and girls who like Nutella are in equilibrium with liquid nitrogen contributing to more polar bears and more Nutella, the other way.

This is not meant to imply that Nutella contributes to climate change, or that climate change can be solved with liquid nitrogen.
