It's September 1st, first day of school for my sister... and the neighborhood cat just came to our back door again. We've seen her around for over a year now, initially attracted to our guinea pigs. She's coming every day now, and my sister's plays with her often.

I'm not happy about it. Her coming so often means something's not well at her home. My dad wants to call (there's a number on her necklace), but I advise against it fearing it would make matters worse.
