Celebration

September 1! | Language school

You reminded me this morning that I really don't want to skip class. I missed the first hour, did homework, and came back after the 30-minute break. The skits were really fun!

Here you can see an enthusiastic and entertained audience. The picture linked is larger so you can have a good look at everybody. Fifth from the left in the back row is one of my teachers. You'll see the other sometime because she will teach the Hungarian class during BSM.

September 1st is the day when students around the world traditionally start their school year. For us, however, it is a day of celebrations, all correlating with the end of the language school. The lax atmosphere during the class when we rehearsed started the day, and the performances ended the intensive language program. An hour later, the BSMers met at the College for a boat cruise on the Duna. (See my Facebook profile picture until I post more.) That went on until 8. I got home around 9, and found that we had a guest. I said then: "I guess we're still celebrating."

It's hard to fathom what the next few days will be like. Residency permit application tomorrow, and then travelling with Chris and his sister to places. Today, though, set the bar high.
