September 10 | Renyi Institute
This is a room (more of a hall) inside Renyi Institute. There's math on the blackboard, noticeably non-commutative group theory, and perhaps something related to knots. (If you look carefully, you'll see strings like "abba", "aabab", etc.) There are two mathematicians discussing something: the one on the left is probably a Doctor of Science, and the one on the right looks like a grad student.
Behind the mathematicians, you see us going downstairs toward the exit. At around that point in space-time, we watched "N is a Number", a movie about Paul Erdős, a great Hungarian mathematician of the 20th century. Interesting movie, since I recognized the places in Budapest that were shown, particularly, the parks and the academy of sciences. I have yet to find the house where Erdős lived and the statue by which Erdős and his collegues brainstormed on various mathematical problems.
I would like for my school to have a nice place to sit down in front of a chalkboard. Also, the guy is looking at you. :P
