Happy Halloween!
This picture's not great, but it proves that I saw an owl today. This was on the way back from the "high top" when I was in a hurry to get out of the woods before sunset, but decided to make a small digression to the "white cliff". On the way there I spotted the owl.
I think I also saw a fox! It ran away as I approached, and I took a few pictures. They're not great either. In fact, it could have been a small dog. But I don't think so: dogs stand their ground and give hikers a hard time.
