November 6, 2009 | McCarthy QuadDoesn't that look fun? It's a metal cage for humans! And the humans rotate in it! I'm assuming the cages rotate on their individual axes. I think something was going on today. I'm not sure what though. In a few weeks, we'll have a ferris wheel for a night! I love ferris wheels!
I change my mind. It doesn't look very turnable.
It looks like it's suppose to turn. But I've stared at it for a minute and couldn't figure out how. It's definitely not in an operational state at the moment.

It is named after the donor Kathleen Leavey McCarthy. Our Quad is green. :) And it's sandwiched North/South by Leavey/Doheny. Freshmen use it for ultimate frisbee. People also use it for tailgating or holding night events. Most of the freshmen dorms are north/south-east of it. Oddly people like to sunbathe on baby hill bordering the Quad, but not the Quad itself.
