Here is a photographic history of the adventures of Jessica Tsay and Igor Tolkov from August 2009 until January 2011. "While chain'd reluctant on the marble ground, Indignant Time reclines, by Sculpture bound; And sternly bending o'er a scroll unroll'd, Inscribes the future" ... a picture a day.

Turkey
So, this turkey (either Carolina or Courage) was pardoned by the President. And now, the bird and friend shall go live somewhere for the rest of his/her life, possibly at Disneyland? I don't really understand. I wonder what the selection process to pardon a turkey is. Does this mean the White House will not be having turkey for dinner? Or just not these turkeys? Also, I wonder if the birds experience ear-popping on the plane. Is it painful? Does the same go for small dogs and children, of which I saw many at the airport?
Turkeys are kind of cute. Makes me feel bad for the one that will be baking in the oven tomorrow.
