Instant

November 17, 2009 | Instant tea mix

I hope you find this picture interesting. I'm so exhausted right now. It is nearly 4AM, and I was starting to fall asleep a little while driving. Baaaadddd idea. We meant to go to one place, but it was closed; so, we (meaning I) drove to another place, on the beach, over 40 minutes away. Our new location at a beach in Malibu was quite nice. The sky was terrific and clear. It was freezing though, even with all of us huddled together. Well, I wanted to take a picture at night, but I don't know how, and I'm pretty sure it's impossible on my camera. So, unfortunately, you'll have to live with just this: one of the instant teas that I have. I have a large variety of instant drinks (teas, coffee, ovaltine); I'm not sure why. Anyway, I was wondering that is Russian on my tea packet. The box from which it came has Chinese characters on it. Thus, I was confused because the individual packets do not have Chinese on them.

  1. Yeah, that's Russian.

Russian and Chinese? I've head of that combination before. Do a lot of people speak both (Northern China or Eastern Russia, perhaps)?

But what is the point of instant tea? I thought tea bags were quick enough - 10 seconds in boiling water.
