June 2, 2010 | CSE Undergrad LoungeThis is the CSE coke closet. It used to be the ACM coke closet, but they withdrew funding after a large deficit for several quarters. Following their announcement, a group of students came together to revive the coke closet. A temporary solution was put in place, and the coke closet reopened.
It currently belongs to the students, specifically, to the 25 or so shareholders. Based on the success this year, the temporary solution could become permanent.
And, wow, this is the biggest pile of food I've ever seen in there. They even brought fruits, at $0.25 each. This week and next week are busy, since people are studying for finals. The pile is expected to disappear.
