So, apparently today was candy day. This was planned, even though I only found out yesterday. There was more than enough junk food to go around. Most of it (a subset is seen here) was opened during our long break, but Raymond's shipment of corn dogs and dumplings (via mom) was delayed until middle of last hour. What's more, we played restaurant during the last hour. It was a lot of fun. 李老師 played the waiter, and spoke pretty much only Chinese, with a few exceptions like:
- Wo de peng-yau...
- Wo de peng-yau...
- Peng-yau? Wrong dialect!...
We need to do stuff like this more often. Actual conversational practice instead of the theoretical book learning that we've been doing up to now.
