July 9, 2010 Birthday cake

There were two birthdays today. So, there were two cakes. This one is fun because there were two copepods on it. Our cooks are very creative with flavors. One cake had some gingery spice, and the other was chocolate with lightly-flavored espresso filling and strawberry bits in the layer. Tomorrow there is another birthday and also the ship's birthday. We have had quite a few birthdays so far and many cakes.
